Subsequent Hypnotherapy Sessions
The sessions following the initial consultation follow a similar pattern each time. Initially we will talk about where you are now and where you would like to be, exploring your goals and building on your existing strengths.
We will finish with some hypnosis, and most people find this experience relaxing and enjoyable. You simply sit or lie wherever is comfortable while I guide you into a deeply relaxed state using calming language and visualisation. During this process your subconscious mind will be open to helpful suggestions enabling you to make positive changes in your life. You are fully in control at all times and will return to complete awareness feeling calm, relaxed and positive.
How many sessions are required?
There are many factors that influence how many sessions are needed to make a significant difference however 8-12 are usually recommended. For specific phobias this is normally less and smoking/vaping cessation requires one 2 hour session.
Note: Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. While I am confident in the results we could achieve, it's important to understand that they are impacted by how open to the process and committed to change you are.
