Client commitment

For the best results from solution focused hypnotherapy commitment is required from both the client and the therapist. This is a collaborative process that requires the client to engage with the process, reflect on session content, regularly listen to the relaxation recording and be willing to make behavioural changes.

Professional conduct

Lynsey endeavours to provide the highest standards of professional care. She aims to treat clients with respect at all times and work in a collaborative and professional manner. Lynsey is a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and adheres to their codes of conduct which are freely available on their websites.

Scope of practice

Lynsey is not medically trained and so unable to diagnose medical conditions. Clinical hypnotherapy should never serve as a substitute for primary medical care or established treatments for any health issue. Should any client have questions regarding specific physical or mental symptoms, general health concerns, or whether this therapy is appropriate for them, they must consult their GP or an appropriately qualified medical professional.

Session duration

All sessions aim to be completed in 50-60 minutes, with the exception of freedom from smoking/vaping sessions. If you are late for a session this will be shortened to end at the scheduled time as it is likely another client will be waiting to start their session. Full payment will be required in these circumstances.

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time (or missed sessions without notice) will be charged at the full session fee.

Payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer and are due on the day of the session. The exception to this is payment for the freedom from smoking/vaping session which is due at the time of booking. A receipt or invoice can be provided. Please check the website fees section for up to date prices.
